Ekurhuleni - Two men died when the car they were travelling in veered out of control and smashed into a wall in Germiston in Ekurhuleni on Saturday, paramedics said.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to reports of a car crash on Rossouw Road in Wadeville in Germiston, Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst said in a statement on Sunday.

Reports from the scene indicated that the car driver lost control of the vehicle after which it slammed into a building wall.

When medics assessed the scene, they found two adult men who had sustained fatal injuries, and they were then declared dead on the scene. The circumstances leading up to the crash were unknown and local authorities were investigating.
