We asked our readers: "How often do you have sex?"
Of the 2 045 people who participated in the poll; 41 percent (832 votes) said "Four times a week"; 34 percent (688 votes) said "Once a month"; while 18 percent (365) said "Never" and 8 percent (160 votes) said "Twice a day"

I wish I could have sex every day - I'm 36 and have a libido that is through the roof!! But my 'boyfriend' who lives with me is not interested unless he has been using drugs. Sadly, that's the only way he gets it up. And then I'm not interested, of course!! I'd never EVER resort to casual sex though, because even condoms aren't 100%. But I think the sexual aspect of a healthy monogamous relationship should equate to sex at least three times a week, especially for us frisky women in our mid thirties!! :-)

I think sex should be shared daily between man and wife. It is a healthy and integral part of a marriage / relationship. A healthy sex life between partners also helps to avoid temptation which results in affairs and heartache. If a partner has a low sex drive or is not satisfying the other half sexually this will lead to the partner seeking sexual stimulation elsewhere; not because of wanting to hurt the partner but in order to satisfy what is only human nature / animal instinct!!! My girlfriend thinks Im wrong with my point of view; she says a man should remain faithful to his wife even if they are not intimate "because of love and committment"..... Some back up please!

If your husband treats you like trash, you dont want to have sex.I have to give in to almost daily unless he is drunk.I wish I could have said never, but I have to say 4 times a week, and it is not of my choosing.Typical of some South African men.

I see the majority are doing it once a month,and they wonder why their partners look else for some sugar.I know atleast of 2 married collegs of mine who are geeting it from work during lunch,and all becos of those "once a month" mentality.Commitmnt has nothing to do with lack of sex,

My wife and I were both "inexperienced" when we got married eight years ago, and therefore were never made an effort to find out more. This hampers our intimate life, which I am actually reluctant to elaborate about. All I want to say, is that it is less of a priority than it sould be.

People should have the right to have wild animals as pets, if they look after them and feed them. Just like people should have the right and duty to look after and feed their children, who sometimes turn into wild "human beings".

I am a 35yr old married chic with 2beatiful kids.I have a very healthy sex life with my gorgeous hubbie - you have to keep the flame alive and strive to keep ur relationship exciting and fresh.Dont do it 24/7 but have sex at least 5times a week - its a really great stress reliever as well.

If you have a partner you are not satisfying & haven't or through being too consevative have failed to fully explore his or her fantasy, believe me if indeed it is "kinky fantasy" and the right cowboy or girl comes along, sorry for you!!! The only thing on his/her mind will be the one with the wip. Easy she/he is satisfied and you are lousy. Finish & Klaar. Me, i don't play games, I lose all inhibition because there is nothing dignified about sex, hence you can't do it in public. If I can hit it 30 times a week, I will and do a good job every single time. Go to divorce court and find out how many marriages are desolved because the lack of sex. They are so frustrated that they are willing to put it in writing, testify & call witnesses. "I am divorcing because I do not get sufficient sex" is exactly what they write.
