Durban -
Twelve people were injured when two trains collided at the Berea Road station in Durban on Friday morning, the Passenger Rail Agency of SA said.
Two of the injured were the drivers of the trains, Prasa's KwaZulu-Natal spokeswoman Isabel van der Westhuizen said.
"They all suffered minor injuries."
The cause of the accident was unknown and would be investigated.
Paramedics said one passenger was critically injured while others sustained moderate injuries in the crash around 8am.
They were treated on the scene and taken to various hospitals, Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said. - Sapa
