Durban - Six people have died and eleven others were injured in an accident in Vryheid, northern KwaZulu-Natal, emergency services said.
On Sunday spokesman Robert McKenzie said: “Earlier this evening paramedics from KZN emergency services, responded to the Vryheid/ Nongoma road in northern KZN, where there was a crash involving a bakkie, which reportedly overturned.
“Sadly, six people have died in the crash and paramedics treated a further eleven patients who had survived the crash.”
The injured were transported to various hospitals for treatment.
It was not clear what caused the accident.
