Port Shepstone - A 40-year-old man has died after he was hit by a car on the N2 in Southport, Port Shepstone in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday morning, paramedics said.
“When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on [the] scene we found that the man had already died before our arrival at the scene because of the extensive injuries he sustained,” spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said.
The man was declared dead on the scene by a Netcare 911 paramedic.
The cause of the accident was unknown and local authorities were investigating, Mathe said.
