Johannesburg - A woman died when the car she was travelling in overturned on the N2 in Umgababa, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, paramedics said on Monday.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said the car with five people inside overturned when it veered off the road.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene and after triaging the injured found that a female had tragically died due to the extensive injuries that she sustained,” he said.
The other people sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment, he said.
The cause of the accident would be investigated.
