The case against one of the two men accused of stoning to death two Middelburg teenagers was postponed in the Middelburg magistrate's court on Tuesday.

Dumisani Makhubela's alleged accomplice will appear in court on Wednesday, said Mpumalanga police Inspector Hlathi.

The two men were arrested over the weekend following the discovery of the bodies of two teenagers in the veld at Mhluzi near Middelburg.

Both the deceased were naked.

One of the men was found with bloodstains on his clothes and the other with an unlicensed firearm, Hlathi said.

A third suspect, believed to have supplied the unlicensed weapon, is still at large.

The case was postponed to July 16. - Sapa
