Rustenburg - North West Premier Professor Job Mokgoro arrived in Rustenburg, where he will address the South African Police Service (SAPS) Annual Provincial Service Excellence Awards ceremony on Friday night.

The premier flanked by Rustenburg Mayor Mpho Khunou were well received at the Rustenburg Civic Centre.

Members of the audience stood up as they walked into the hall.

The excellence awards is amongst others to support and give effect to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the South African Police Service.

It also provides managers with a mechanism to facilitate an overall improvement of employee morale, to institutionalise a culture of positive behaviour and to recognise innovation in delivering services to the North West community.
