Three people were killed when two cars collided near the Plattekloof bridge in Cape Town, paramedics said.
A fourth person was critically injured and taken to hospital, said ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak.
The incident happened on the N1 on Wednesday night.
All four were from one vehicle. No one was injured in the other car. - Sapa
