Cape Town - Hundreds of women from around the Cape are expected to bring the house down at an Edgars store in Cavendish Square this weekend.
Fed-up mothers have vowed to go to the store on Sunday to protest for their right to breastfeed in public.
This was provoked when a mom of a one-month-old baby was told to leave the store when she wanted to change and breastfeed the infant in the store.

Tasneem Botha described on Facebook how she was kicked out of the winkel, and forced to feed her child on a bench in the mall.
An outraged Anèl Olsson, director of the Normalise Breastfeeding Campaign South Africa, tells the Daily Voice they were shocked to learn that women were still being subjected to such forms of harassment.
“We will co-host a peaceful protest at Cavendish Square on Sunday at 10am and we would like the support from everyone, as our children’s right to breastfeed milk is enshrined in the Constitution,” says Anèl.
Bernie Brooks, the CEO of Edcon, has apologised to Tasneem for “the wrongful actions of one team member”.
“We will ensure all staff supports guests in our stores if they wish to breastfeed their children,” Bernie says.
