Cape Town - Four people have been injured in a shooting incident at the Joe Slovo Taxi Rank in Milnerton in Cape Town on Tuesday morning.
Western Cape police confirmed the incident and said unknown persons had opened fire and wounded four people.
"Of the four injured, three are taxi owners and one a bystander," said police spokesperson Captain FC Van Wyk.
He added that police were on the scene and provincial detectives are investigating. The City of Cape Town reported road closures in the area as a result of the incident.
