Cape Town - Coloured people have become the latest victims of a scathing race attack on Facebook.

Just weeks after black people were compared to monkeys, a woman named Marie van Rensburg called coloured people “a messed up race” who can’t take care of their children and are lazy drunkards who don’t want to get an education.

Van Rensburg said coloured mothers were negligent, and urged them to “stop opening their legs”, before slamming coloured men for making kids “left, right and centre”.

The shocking comments were made on the back of a devastating tragedy in Kakamas last week, where five young cousins were found dead in an old freezer in their grandmother’s backyard.

It’s believed the children, aged three to seven, were playing in the unused freezer, when it locked by itself and they suffocated.

Van Rensburg wrote on Facebook: “I really feel bad for those five innocent kids who tragically died in an old freezer, however not for their parents.

“The stigma of neglectness by coloured ladies with their children is going on way too long.

“These ladies must stop opening their legs and get children just for government grant and these coloured boys must stop making children left right and center.

“So many of them leave school cause of teenage pregnancies and plain laziness, they don’t want to learn and drink the whole day. (sic)”

Her comments drew howls of outrage on Facebook.

Stone Johann Steenkamp wrote: “If anybody knows this Marie van Rensburg b!tch wat sê (who says) coloured people is a messed up race, sê vir haar (tell her)... [haar] ma se p*** (sic).”

The Daily Voice was unable to find Marie van Rensburg’s profile on Facebook and it’s believed the page has since been deleted.

Former DA member Penny Sparrow was slammed after comparing black Durban beachgoers to monkeys on New Year’s Day.

Sparrow has received death threats, and the ANC made a case against her in the Equality Court.

But Khoi Chief Tania Kleinhans-Cedras said with the municipal elections coming up, she suspects dirty politicians may be behind the racist post.

Kleinhans-Cedras said: “This is an agitator and I believe it to be someone in our very own community.

“The tone and language is so plain as to suggest that it is one of our own.”
