Cape Town - Roads were closed and the 12 Apostles Hotel evacuated on Thursday due to the vegetation fire between Camps Bay and Llandudno in Cape Town.

Authorities on Friday morning said the fire was still burning and that staff attended throughout the night and were still on scene. Victoria Road is closed between Houghton and Llandudno Roads, in both directions, due to poor visibility.
