Fochville, Gauteng -

Three men appeared in the Fochville Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for an attack in which three people were killed and six others injured, Gauteng police said.

The men were expected back in court on September 6, for their formal bail application, Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini said.

The men were taken into custody on Sunday and were charged with murder, attempted murder, and arson on Monday.

Three people were killed and six others injured when several men opened fire in a shebeen around 7pm on Saturday. Five shacks were also set alight.

“It is believed there was a dispute before the people attacked each other. All the people involved in the attack are Lesotho nationals,” Dlamini said. - Sapa
