Sao Paulo - Fourteen people died on Sunday when a bus drove off a road in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo and plunged into a ravine, highway police told local media.
The bus, with 54 people aboard, was traveling from the city of Curitiba to Rio de Janeiro when it drove off the road in a wooded area near the city of Sao Paulo and plunged down a gully some 50 metres deep, the O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper website reported.
