He conquered the sprinting world, and now he has begun his journey to do the same in football.
Usain Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medallist, is now officially a goal-scorer in professional football.
The Jamaican athletics legend scored twice for Australian side Central Coast Mariners on Friday in a warm-up match for the A-League against Macarthur South West United in Sydney.
The Mariners won 4-0, with Bolt showing off his tremendous pace to shrug off a defender, and then lashing the ball home from an acute angle with his left foot in the 55th minute.
About 15 minutes later, Macarthur’s defenders clashed with the goalkeeper, and the ball spilled loose for Bolt to walk it into the net.
The 32-year-old took to Instagram to post a video clip of his first goal with the words “Dreams become Reality through hard work”, and added photos of his goal celebration afterwards while saying “Anything is possible, don’t think limits” and “New Levels @CCMariners”.

He told Fox Sports: “I’m just happy that I got a chance and I’m proud of myself.
“It was a big deal... first start and scoring two goals. It was a good feeling.

“This is what I worked towards. I try to get better and I am on the way to doing that. I’m keen. That’s why I’m here, to play my best and to try and get into the team.”
Bolt retired from the athletics track following the 2017 world championships in London, where he pulled up with a hamstring injury.

That signalled the end of a glittering career in which he won eight Olympic gold medals and 11 world championship golds, as well as two silvers and bronze.
He has said he hopes to play for Manchester United one day.
