DURBAN – Over the course of the 2017/18 campaign, Senuran Muthusamy graduated from Dolphins potential to stalwart as runs, wickets and responsibility became his bread and butter.

The reward for that was to garner the lion’s share of the honours at the end of season awards.

“Last season was amazing, but it is in the past now. I was very proud to do well for the team, but it all starts again now,” Muthusamy noted.

He also went to India with the South Africa A side.

“It was a wonderful experience, because India is a tough place to tour. But I loved it,” he beamed.

“You want to get tested as a player, and those conditions and the players we took on were definitely a big test.

“That is where you want to be as a player, being tested against the best from around the world.

“I want to be contributing heavily for the Dolphins. With bat and ball. I want to win things with the Dolphins, and that is my biggest priority.”

The Dophins start their four-day campaign against the Titans next week.
