TAUNTON, England - Proteas coach Russell Domingo has had to urgently rush back to South Africa, after his mother was involved in accident.

It is understood that she is in critical condition, hence the Port Elizabeth-based national coach's urgent trip back home, ahead of the second T20 International against England in Taunton.

South Africa are currently on a comprehensive tour of the UK, with a Test series still to follow.

Assistant coach Adrian Birrell will take temporary charge of the team.
