DURBAN - The South African police have fired a strong warning to those who plan to sell fake Soweto derby tickets for the Telkom Knockout semi-final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban tomorrow (at 3pm).
They will also beef up security at the venue.
Four people who were allegedly selling fake tickets had been arrested, said police spokesperson Colonel Thulani Zwane.
“We arrested four people on Tuesday who were found selling fake tickets at the Workshop in town. They appeared in court and the investigation is ongoing. Our crime intelligence is working diligently to arrest those who are selling fake tickets. We are urging people not to buy fake tickets,” Zwane said at Moses Mabhida Stadium yesterday.
