LAS VEGAS – Cecil Afrika was the only member of the Blitzboks team to make the Dream Team following the conclusion of the Las Vegas Sevens on Sunday (Monday SA time).

The Blitzboks finished fourth in Las Vegas after losing their semifinal against the vastly improved Argentina.

The USA, the eventual winners have three representatives in the Dream Team. They are Ben Pinkelman, Danny Barrett and Perry Baker.

Luke Morgan, Wales' all-time record try-scorer, is the only player from Europe in the elite team.

Jerry Tuwai, the Fiji skipper, has again been named in a Dream Team combination.

Las Vegas runners-up Argentina have Matias Osadczuk in the team and Afrika completes the seven-man team.

Meanwhile, Afrika's teammate Siviwe Soyizwapi made the Top Tryscorers' list at the tournament at the Sam Boyd Stadium.

The former SA Rugby Sevens Academy captain is in joint second place after crossing the whitewash seven times.

The hosts' Perry Baker tops the list with nine tries while Soyizwapi shares second place with Luke Morgan (Wales).
