The Blitzboks bagged their second win on Day One of the London leg of the World Sevens Series when they beat Canada 17-7 on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Blitzboks cruised past Russia and secured a 31-0 victory in their Pool D match.

The Blitzboks led 7-0 at the break against Canada and scored three tries to make it two out of two on the first day of the two-day tournament.

Canada only visited the Blitzboks' in-goal area once in the match, when Harry Jones scored a second-half try.

The Blitzboks' last game pool-stage game is at 5.04 pm (SA time) against Samoa.

The knockout rounds will be played on Sunday.
