CAPE TOWN – The Bulls are set to host the Jaguares in a fourth and final Super Rugby warm-up game on February 10.
According to SuperSport.com, the Bulls have opted to add an additional game to their schedule as they look to complete pre-season preparation ahead of their Super Rugby opener against the Hurricanes on February 24.
New head coach John Mitchell has already been putting the Bulls through their paces throughout the pre-season, and will be aiming to have a close look at his wider squad.
This is sure to be the case when the Bulls play two warm-up games on January 27, which will see one side facing the Lions in Johannesburg, and another team taking on the Sharks in Polokwane.
The Bulls will then head to Los Angeles for a much-anticipated encounter against the Stormers, which is sure to be the headline feature of their pre-season programme.
The Pretoria-based side will finally complete their preparations fixtures against the Jaguares, and the good news is that they should have most of their squad available for that clash.
In a pre-season medical update issued by the Bulls, team doctor Herman Rossouw has already confirmed that Jamba Ulengo, Lizo Gqoboka, Jaco Visagie and Dries Swanepoel have all recovered from injuries.
Hendrè Stassen, Corniel Els, Jannes Kirsten, Gerhard Steenekamp, JT Jackson and Shaun Adendorff are expected to join training before the end of January, although Ruan Steenkamp and Ivan van Zyl will only be back in mid-February.
