Damian Willemse will start at fullback when the Stormers face the Sharks at Kings Park in Saturday (kick off 3.05pm).

Willemse is one of a number of changes for the weekend's clash, with Jean-Luc du Plessis coming in at flyhalf and getting his first start of the season.

Leyds moves to the right wing to accommodate Willemse at 15, with Sergeal Petersen moving to the bench.

Up front, Johan du Toit replaces his injured brother Pieter-Steph at blindside flank, with Ernst van Rhyn at No 6 in the place of Jaco Coetzee, who's been named on the bench.

In the second row, Salmaan Moerat and JD Schicklerling pair up, with Chris van Zyl providing cover off the bench.

In a rotational switch, Frans Malherbe returns to the starting lineup at tighthead prop in place of Wilco Louw.
