Mamelodi Sundowns became the second South African team to be crowned CAF Champions League champions after they defeated Egypt’s Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate over the two legs.
Although coach Pitso Mosimane lost his undefeated record against Egyptian opposition, he won’t mind as his team will be coming home with the most prstigious club trophy on the continent and almost R21-milion in prize money.
