Borussia Dortmund recruit Erling Haaland has revealed why he chose the Bundesliga
club over Manchester United, who he was heavily linked with prior to his move
to Germany.

suggested United, due to Haaland’s relationship with their manager Ole Gunnar
Solskjaer, had the inside lane and were favourites to secure his services.

Norweigian has lifted the lid on why he moved to Germany.

question,” he was quoted by Metro.co.uk when asked why he chose to join
Dortmund ahead of United.
normal">“I chose Dortmung because
my feling was best here,” he said.
normal">“It’s a massive club.
I’ve always liked this club.
normal">“When I mention it, I
start to smile because I like the club and how it is, so that’s why. I like
everything, all of it.
normal">“The Bundsliga is a
good league with a lot of good players. It’s a great league, the teams play
nice football and I think it’ll fit me,” he added.
