London – Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is still hoping to take part in his club's tour to the United States despite missing the start because he was unable to get a visa.

The Chilean was not allowed a visa because, under US law, no visas are granted to anyone who has been found guilty of fraud.

The 29-year-old was given a 16-month suspended sentence in February for tax fraud in Spain.
