CAPE TOWN – In the second arbitration hearing into the eligibility of Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro, Ajax Cape Town have been found guilty, and they will forfeit matches against Platinum Stars, Polokwane City and SuperSport United.

The decision of the arbitrator is that that they lose all three matches 3-0, and are fined R50 000 on each offence.

What that means is that Ajax are docked nine points and finish last on the PSL standings.

They are relegated from the Premiership, with Platinum Stars set to take their place in the promotion playoffs, which kick off in Thohoyandou on Wednesday.

That is the situation as it stands right now.

Ajax chief executive Ari Efstathiou has not been available for comment as yet.

It is likely, though, that the Cape club will now take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland.

* More to follow later.
