DURBAN – Andile Jali is staying with KV Oostende in Belgium… for now.

It has been reported that Jali might be coming back to South Africa in this January transfer window.

But his agent, Mike Makaab, has exclusively told Independent Media that Jali is not coming back home.

"Nothing is going to happen in this transfer window. We don’t want to make rash decisions. Yes, there’s been interest from all the big clubs in South Africa in Andile Jali, but he is staying with Oostende,” Makaab explained.

Jali is still contracted to Oostende until the end of the season.

"Oostende want to offer him a new contract. We still have to discuss that with Andile and make the decision. Other top clubs in Belgium have also inquired about him. So, there’s a lot that we have to consider,” Makaab said.

Jali has been linked with Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

The Bafana Bafana international has been one of the top performers since joining Oostende from Pirates two seasons ago.
