CAPE TOWN – Tendai Ndoro will be available when Ajax Cape Town host Orlando Pirates at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday night (7.30pm kickoff).

The Cape side on Wednesday morning announced they had won their case at a PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) hearing with regard to the eligibility of the Zimbabwean striker.

The club tweeted: “The PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favour of Ajax Cape Town and Tendai Ndoro. The Zimbabwe international has been declared eligible for selection.”

Ndoro, who initially came to prominence as an ace marksman for Pirates, was lured back to South Africa by current Ajax head coach Muhsin Ertugral.

Unfortunately though, because of a Fifa ruling that a player who has registered with three clubs in one season may only play official matches for two clubs, the case was referred to the PSL.

Ndoro has played for Pirates, Al-Faisaly in Saudi Arabia and Ajax this season.

Ajax and Ndoro appeared at the DRC this week and on Wednesday morning, the PSL ruled in favour of Ajax.

The PSL have yet to release an official statement as to the reasoning behind the decision.
