Cupid's shine may come around once a year, but his special day is certainly not short-lived, especially if social media has anything to do with it.

Even though the day was filled with all things Jacob Zuma, celebrities still took the time to celebrate Valentine's Day.

LeAnne Dlamini started the day off with a picture of her husband Sipho and her daughters posing for a photo with the flowers he had bought them.

Dlamini posted on Instagram: "My husband @siphodlam has been buying the girls & I flowers for Valentine's every year since they were born, but last night he took them on their very first Daddy Daughter Valentine's Dinner Date.

"Told them to dress up, bought them flowers and even he smartened up his jeans with a jacket because he wanted the girls to know that if a guy wants to take you on a date he needs to come dressed appropriately and come correct!

"Sipho, you have been the perfect husband to me and father to our girls," Dlamini said in her post.

"Thank you for always setting the standard and raising the bar.

"We teach our girls to never settle and I’m glad I didn't either.

"You are everything I've ever wanted! I love you with all my heart and I thank God for you," she added.
