It’s widely known that DJ Zinhle is a woman who wears many hats and in the past few years, all her career endeavours have been on an upward trajectory.

The music artist and businesswoman has announced the launch of ERA by DJ Zinhle onto the Uber Eats app, which also happens as she celebrates 10 years since her brand was introduced to people.

The popular timeless fashion-accessory brand ERA by DJ Zinhle is working with Uber Eats to deliver sophistication and style right to customers’ doorsteps, according to the announcement.

This collaboration will see the local brand now being accessible to all users on the Uber Eats platform for watches, jewellery, eyewear and all sorts of accessories with just the tap of a button.

The ERA brand was first launched 10 years ago as a timepiece-specific brand built around the notion that the time is now for women in South Africa to conquer and take their place on their respective thrones.

Today the brand has expanded into a range of accessories with the continued mission to inspire and serve as a reminder to women of their value and contribution to society.

Speaking about this new endeavour, DJ Zintle said: “Quality, convenience and innovation are some of the key things for us when we think about our sales and retail experiences.

“We always want to make sure that we give our EraFam the best accessories in the most accessible way and working with Uber Eats will take this to a whole new level. Beyond the opportunity to increase our sales, as an Era girl myself I absolutely can’t wait to get my chokers delivered in under an hour straight to my doorstep! Now that’s next level!”

Head of New Verticals for Uber sub-Saharan Africa, Cikida Gcali-Mabusela, commented: “It’s important to us that women tap into platforms that allow them to expand their businesses, which is why we’re excited about the listing of ERA on our platform. We recognise the economic value women bring to society and it’s our intention to enable an environment for them to thrive.”

In celebration of ERA’s decade milestone, which coincides with Women’s Month, customers are spoilt for choice, with ERA offering several stores across Rosebank, Mall of Africa, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton, the Pavillion in Durban, and online.
