Don't have travel plans for Easter?

Why not pop by to the National Zoological Gardens over the Easter long weekend where a series of activities are planned.

Both children and adults alike can participate in their Easter egg treasure hunt. Families visiting the zoo will be treated to some delicious milk chocolate freebies with the handing out of free marshmallow Easter eggs. There will also be amazing races throughout the day. Teams of 5 will be competing in races, and gathering clues around the zoo as they attempt to complete the route in the quickest time. Winners of each round will be entered into a lucky draw for prizes from Pick n Pay. There will also be various mascots giving out ice-creams and other prizes on the day.

While adults relax in the shade, children can participate in the range of activities on offer.

The NZG has been voted as one of the best picnic spots as well as one of the top tourist attractions in Pretoria.

Standard entrance fees apply.
