Altitude is Durban’s most popular gay bar. It offers everything from karaoke and pool nights on Wednesday to Old School, Club Anthem nights on Friday to Saturday themed nights, Altitude offers an array of entertainment. There is even an adult pantomime from November 13, 2018, to January 12, 2019.

Urban Lounge is a gay-friendly bar in the Durban CBD. They host many events for the LGBTQ community, including the annual Durban Pride celebrations. Opened seven days a week, Urban Lounge offers an array of entertainment for all types of travellers. Entrance is free. However, costs may apply when there are events at the lounge.
