Gold Reef City Theme Park 

One of the oldest theme parks in the city of Gold, Gold Reef city has over 30 rides and attractions that young and old can have fun with. Tip: Make sure you're dressed warmly to beat the cold winter air. Otherwise, you should be ready to have the time of your life!

: Gold Reef City Theme Park is open from 09h30 - 17h00 from Wednesday to Sunday and all public Holidays (except Christmas Day.) During public Gauteng school holidays the park is open Monday to Sunday from 09h30 - 17h00.

While it's not your conventional theme park experience, you are in for a treat should you decide to visit it. The Sun City Casio and Resort has a variety of activities on offer such as zip lining, finding your way through a maze,dirt buggies and even quad biking.

Also not your everyday theme park, but the tour the Sudwala Caves promises to be excitng. You can also pay a visit to the nearby dinosaur park afterwards. According to the park you can enjoy: "on display live Nile Crocodiles, perfectly adapted to survival and not much changed from their ancient relatives.The park is set in a lush sub-tropical forest garden, where monkeys and red-breasted cuckoos abound.  New is a magnificent ‘viewing deck’ from where the Rainforest Valley (National Heritage Site # 167) can be observed – with occasional glimpses of wild chacma baboons".

:Open daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The standard tour lasts about an hour, maximum wait for a tour is 15 minutes, and sometimes there is no wait at all. Specific times for group bookings can be arranged by phone.
