This picture is enough to make you want to visit here. Plitviče Lakes National Park is a forest reserve in central Croatia that is known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. There are walkways and hiking trails in the property.

Now this is a place I would love to spend my weekend. Who can resist sitting in the back of a van, overlooking some of the most gorgeous views? Scotland is known for Cairngorms and Northwest Highlands, with valleys and lakes.

Thailand’s beaches are out of this world. This shot of Jomtien Beach takes me back to lazing on the beach with a good book in Phuket. Jomtien Beach is on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 165 km south-east of Bangkok in Chonburi Province.
