The American singer Meghan Trainor has responded to a South African dance video that went viral on Tuesday.

The Cape Town choreographer Rudi Smit's dance video caused a frenzy among proud South Africans with just over 100 000 views in less than 24 hours on Facebook.
The video’s views have since tripled with just over 308 000 views on Facebook. On YouTube it’s reached over 293 000 views.

Trainor also liked the video on Instagram and Smit responded, saying:
