Cape Town - Raising Superheroes, the follow-up to Tim Noakes’s Real Meal Revolution, is now available in bookstores nationwide.

According to a press release, the book is co-authored by chef and entrepreneur Jonno Proudfoot and paediatric dietician Bridget Surtees .

Raising Superheroes’ focus is on the best science available on children’s nutrition married to a practical way of implementing it. Noakes offers an overview of the science and the controversial history of the baby food industry, while Surtees offers advice underscored by the practicalities of parenthood.

Proudfoot produces over 120 recipes designed to give children a love for food and a hunger for greatness.

Parents are shown how to eliminate (or drastically reduce) sugar and refined carbohydrates from their children’s diets and to include more real, non-processed whole foods.
