Meet the 'Creative Conquerors' - individuals who dont conform to 'the norms

Stylin’ Dredz recently hosted an event at Maboneng to reveal six individuals who have curated colourful careers that celebrate their unique identities and creativity.

These creatives are joining the brand on a new campaign called ‘Creative Conquerors’. 

Creative Conquerors are young artists who are rebellious, expressive, unique and do not conform to norms.

“This year, new life has been breathed into the brand with a campaign that celebrates the essence of what Stylin’ Dredz stands for. We’re about personal expression, individuality, choices and style. 

"All these guys have crafted a career in the creative space and conquered the confines of conformation,” commented Stylin’ Dredz Brand Manager, Tumiso Mathebula.

The six Stylin’ Dredz Creative Conquerors are; 

Lufuno Sathekge 

Lufuno Sathekge is a fashion blogger and head stylist to the stars. Her passion for beautifully presented aesthetics has sparked a passion within to want to change the world through one well-dressed and styled person at a time.

Lady X

Popularly known by her stage name ‘Lady X’, Xolisa Mvula  is a record label owner and vocally talented musician on a musical journey infusing afro soul and tribal.

Oscar Ncube

Founder of Dry bone Co. clothing/lifestyle brand established in 2018, Osca Ncube's brand includes leather jackets, dresses, t-shirts and accessories.

Doowap

Khetsiwe Morgan, also known as Doowap is  a stylist, hair artist, public figure and live mix deejay who dabbles in hip- hop, trap, grime, gqom and drum & bass.

David Tshabalala

On July 5, a gallery styled showcase of Creative Conquerors journey and interpretation of life as a dreadlocked unconventional creative will take place.
