Pretoria – New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl in the first One Day International (ODI) against South Africa at SuperSport Park, in Centurion, on Wednesday.

The Proteas handed an ODI debut to allrounder David Wiese, while Kagiso Rabada received the nod ahead of Kyle Abbott.

The New Zealand team was unchanged from their T20 side that did duty on Sunday at the same venue.

South Africa team: Hashim Amla, Morne van Wyk (wk), AB de Villiers (capt), Rilee Rossouw, David Miller, Farhaan Behardien, David Wiese, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir.

New Zealand team: Martin Guptil, Tom Latham, Kane Williamson (capt), Jimmy Neesham, Grant Elliot, Luke Ronchi (wk), Colin Munro, Nathan McCullum, Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi, Mitchell McClenaghan. - ANA
