Bok Hopwood dies at 67

Doug Hopwood, the legendary South African No 8, died at his home in Plumstead, Cape Town on Thursday.

Hopwood, 67, played for Western Province and the Springboks in the 50s and 60s. He played in 22 Test matches for South Africa and had the distinction of scoring a try against all four of the Home Unions, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Funeral arrangements had not yet been made by Thursday afternoon. - Sapa
