Twitter was in a tizzy all of Friday after fan recorded videos of American singer, rapper and actor Janelle Monae lifting up her shirt to show off her bare, perky boobs started to circulate on the social media platform.
The action began to unfold after the 37-year-old announced “The Age of Pleasure”, which is her first album in five years. The announcement came with a new single titled “Lipstick Lover”, which she teased on social media on Wednesday.
The teaser video that accompanied her post hinted at the provocative stunt that was to follow as she posed in a soaked T-shirt written “Pleasure”. “As we enter into The Age Of Pleasure Lipstick Lover is our freeassmothafucka anthem inspired by f.a.m. for f.a.m,” she wrote in a statement.
“This is our audio oasis made with love and signed with cherry red kisses from me to you.”
The album is due out on June 9. While fans were still fawning over the teaser clip, Monae flashed her boobs while on stage at an event celebrating the new release on Thursday evening.
