A NUMBER of cases had to be postponed at the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Monday after the building which also houses the Regional Court, was left without water.

But the Department of Justice was unable to supply figures of the adjourned court cases or advise if the water problem would be sorted out by today.

Department national spokesman, advocate Mthunzi Mhaga, confirmed the courts closed early at 11am.

He said the Department of Public Works confirmed they were attending to the problem.
