Four men died when two bakkies collided outside Ladysmith.
Another man died and two others were injured when their vehicle rolled in Waterfall.
In Pietermaritzburg a man died when he was thrown from his vehicle.
Earlier in Soweto four men died in an accident in Dobsonville.
Another man died in a head-on collision in Witkoppen Road in Johannesburg.
Ten people were killed on the N1 in the Western Cape on Sunday.
