Temporary off-peak trains between Reunion and KwaMnyandu while infrastructure repair work continues

Durban — The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa in KwaZulu-Natal has introduced off-peak trains on the Umlazi corridor from Monday, December 5, 2022.

In a statement, Prasa KZN said it was pleased to inform commuters, the public and all stakeholders of the extension of the train service between Reunion and KwaMnyandu to include an off-peak service from Monday.

“Trains will continue to shuttle commuters from KwaMnyandu to Reunion Station. At Reunion Station, commuters will connect on trains from South Coast to Durban Station. This is a temporary arrangement whilst infrastructure repair works continue,” Prasa KZN said.
