Durban is one of the many local cities that will host multi-award winning local rock band, Prime Circle, this month.

The band is taking to the road with a much-awaited tour, with performances in Namibia, Johannesburg and Cape Town, among others.

Organisers said in a statement that The Pretty Like The Sun tour will include 15 shows from December 8, 2017 to January 7, 2018.

Durban will host the band on December 18 and 19 at Rockwood at Sibaya.

“The series of concerts is named after the single of the same name, off the album If You Don’t You Never Will, their seventh album."

With a string of awards and sold-out concerts to their credit, the band had spent the past few years beefing up its international profile, and building a solid following in the tough-to-crack and discerning German market in particular, they said.

“Prime Circle may have secured a German agent and an international recording deal, yet their roots remain firmly lodged in South Africa – which is why they are giving local fans first dibs at hearing their new material.”
