Whilst “home,” the comedian got to feel the warmth of the Mother City.

He shared videos of himself surrounded by performers singing joyfully outside Karibu, South African Dining restaurant.

The performers were adorned in traditional headwear singing “Welcome to South Africa” and the actor broke into dance mode, along with one of the performers.

He shared a series of pictures of himself with people he met on his night in Cape Town. “It feels good to be home. The LOVE is real!”

The Compton-born actor was gifted a portrait by local artist Lonwabo Bonxa, who shared a picture of him gifting Anderson the painting.

“He has always been one of my favourite actors,” Bonxa told IOL Entertainment.

“I grew up watching his movies, such as ‘Kangaroo Jack’ where he portrayed Louis Booker, ‘Transformers’ where he played Glen Whitmann, and ‘Romeo Must Die’ where he portrayed Maurice.”

“When I heard that he was in Cape Town, South Africa, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see him. I visited his Instagram page, saved one of his pictures, and drew a portrait of him, hoping to meet him and present him with the artwork,” Bonxa added.

“To my delight, just three days after I completed the drawing, he visited my store to purchase some items for himself.”

Anderson in his comments section humbly thanked Bonxa for his gift.

“My brother I humbly thank you for my gift. Nothing has my trip more enjoyable than meeting such a talented artist such as yourself. May GOD continue to bless you and your family,” he wrote.
