Durban — A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death of the man whose body was found in a vehicle in Bayview, Chatsworth, over the weekend.

Police spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo said an inquest docket was opened at Bayview police station after a man, 46, was found dead in his vehicle on September 11, 2022, in the Bayview area.

“A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”

According to the Chatsworth Crime Watch Facebook page, it was said the deceased was Rodney from 327 flats and he was a mechanic.

Someone who commented on Facebook said that when they spoke to Rodney on Friday, he said he was not feeling well.
