DURBAN- Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Tuesday visit the Shembe Church in Empangeni. 

Ramaphosa's spokesman, Ronnie Mamoepa, said the deputy president was visiting the church at the invitation of Prophet Unyazilwezulu Shembe.

Ramaphosa will join thousands of congregants of the Nazareth Baptist Church (Shembe) in Empangeni to celebrate the life and times of its founder leader Prophet Isaiah Shembe at eGibisile Home in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal. 

On Monday - Workers' Day - Ramaphosa, who is also the deputy president of the African National Congress, enjoyed a hero’s welcome in Mpumalanga as he arrived to deliver a speech.
