Trevor Noah

Durban -

Tickets to all three Durban comedy shows by award-winning comedian Trevor Noah have sold out.

Fortunately for Durbanites who missed out on purchasing tickets for the September 26, 27, and 28 shows at Suncoast Casino, an additional date has been added.

Suncoast announced this week that they have secured an additional show on September 25.

Tickets are available at Computicket from R240.

Noah, who is making waves in America, has been touring the country since last month in a first of its kind comedy show called NationWild.

Noah, who has appeared on The Jay Leno Show and is reportedly to star in his own American sitcom, will be making a stop in seven cities across the country with six other comedians who he has deemed the “funniest”.

The tour will run until November.

The comedians who will be joining him on stage include Eugene Khoza, Dillan Oliphant, local act Dusty Rich, Loyiso Madinga (LoyMad) and Robby Collins.

Noah said he was excited for Durbanites and South Africans to see home-grown talent.

“This spectacular line-up showcases the best young comedic talent out there.

“I was afforded the opportunity to perform on the biggest stages early in my career and this tour will hopefully present a great platform for these young guys to take their careers to new heights,” he said.

The tour will visit seven cities, including Pietermaritzburg, for shows on September 19, 20 and 21 at the Golden Horse Casino.

Suncoast Marketing Manager, Louise Howell, said the casino was thrilled to host the country’s golden boy of comedy and friends.
