DURBAN - Three men are expected to appear in court after being arrested for the murder of Creighton small holding resident Peter Scott.
He was killed at 3am on Saturday during an armed robbery. His wife had been tied up during the robbery, police said..
The three armed intruders escaped with laptops and cellphones. Some items belonging to the Scotts were found at the nearby home of one of the suspects when he was arrested, police said.
They also found a firearm with its serial number filed off and six rounds of ammunition.
“It will be subjected to ballistic tests to determine if it was used during the robbery and murder,” provincial police spokesman Brigadier Jay Naicker.
The hunt continues for further suspects, he said.
